Assumptions & Limitations
Overtime Threshold: By default, overtime is calculated after 40 hours per week. This can be adjusted in Advanced Settings.
Input Flexibility: You can enter start/end times or directly input hours worked in the calculator.
Break Time: If entering start/end times, break is subtracted from the shift. For direct hour entry, ensure your entered hours are net of break.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is overtime calculated?
Overtime is calculated as any hours worked beyond the weekly threshold (default 40 hours). The calculator shows regular hours (up to threshold) and overtime hours (beyond threshold).
Can I change the overtime threshold?
Yes! Open Advanced Settings to adjust the weekly overtime threshold (in hours) and the overtime multiplier.
Does this calculator show daily breakdown?
Yes, the calculator shows each day's hours in the daily cards, and the weekly totals at the bottom.
